I never really realized how many people call themselves low back pain specialists until I hurt myself a few weeks ago. ?I went online and found ads for surgeons, physical therapists, chiropractors, massage therapists, and even trainers. ?I finally chose a chiropractor who didn?t call himself a Chapel Hill low back pain?specialist. ?I got his name from one of the faculty at UNC. ?He said he had heard him lecture at the University and seemed to have a good approach. ?He said he regularly integrated physical therapy and massage for his patients. ?It made me feel better that I wasn?t going into a place that wouldn?t let me leave. ?He was excellent at what he did.?
